Our favourite film fuzz ball is back with another filmmaking tip. Cinematic J takes a quick look at how to set marks for actors on set.

This New video is to show you the most common ways on How to Set Marks for Actors. From using a “T” Shape mark, Toe Mark, Box Mark, Double Toe Box mark… you can choose what works better for you and your actors.
Using Marks for actors may seem like a waste a time, but it will actually save you time making sure the actors hit their mark every take.

Learning how to hit marks accurately and seamlessly is a vital component of good technique and something all actors must master.

The only time I don’t use marks to mark the actors position is on wide shots, instead I ask them to find references within the set props.
