San Francisco Shooter John Coyne DP’d, produced, and edited this little music video “City Boy” by Richie Cunning. What I like about John and Richie’s efforts in the video is that they planned the shoot, took the time to understand the available light, the quality and power of a beautiful sunrise over the locations they recced such as AT&T Park the Giants Stadium. John shot “City Boy” at 5.30am with a Canon T2i / 550D, and a Canon 24-70L 2.8 II lens plus of course his good eye for producing.
The other great thing I like about the video is the very subtle use of the Twixtor software in post production that allowed John to slow selected vision down just slightly, to add context to the footage. John also used Warp Stabilizer in Adobe After Effects and edited with Premiere Pro CS5.
