Cooke showcased its newly announced 65mm Macro Anamorphic/i 2x Prime lens along with Cooke’s Anamorphic/i, 5/i, S4/i, and miniS4/i lens sets at SMPTE 2015.

As well as showcasing its prestigious range of lenses, Les Zellan, Chairman and Owner of Cooke Optics will presented his ‘How to Make a Lens’ Lecture to the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS), on the 16th July in the ACS Clubhouse in Sydney. The talk entitled ‘The Cooke Look – An Evening with Les Zellan’ discussed how the high end, academy award winning lenses are made.



The presentation will be repeated to the ACS in Melbourne on July 21st in the Lemac Theatrette, with the final leg taking place on Thursday 23rd July in Auckland to the New Zealand Cinematographers Society (NZCS).
