Heard a few rumblings that something was up with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera special price. We heard that the half price *limited special was over.
Well we actually heard two rumours: 1- It’s on hold and 2- It’s over.
Has it been 5 days? Seriously has it been less than a week with this BMPCC price drop, and now it heads back up. Wow that has to be a Blackmagic Design record… Normally it takes months, I mean months for it to actually happen, he says tongue in cheek…
We didn’t touch the price going down, but hell let’s poke a stick at it going back up.
On the Spanish site camaralia.com comes reports confirming what we have heard. The Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera half price special has been terminated!!

Blackmagic terminated the special promotion on Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, and does not accept any order more. Therefore the price becomes € 795 again.
So it looks like if you ordered before the * came into effect you did well / will do well getting a BMPCC at such a low price. If you order today / tomorrow good luck champ, good luck!
At time of print B&H, others and even the US BMD site is still sitting on a half price camera. Could this be a territory issue or is it about supply?
