SONY PXW-FS7 TEST – 150FPS – Bella from Meantime Media on Vimeo.

I spent half an hour in the garden testing out Sony's new FS7 camera and it's capabilities. Not a very thorough test – all free hand at 150fps. Will hopefully have some more time (and a better behaved subject!) next time!

Lenses used:
Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L II
Canon 70-300 mm f/4-5.6 IS (turned off)

Test Shot PXW-FS7 180Frames Per Second Club Mate with ibelux 40mm 0.85 from tectum – raum&zeit on Vimeo.

We wanted to test the S&Q Function of the PXW-FS7. The big difference, compared with the FS700: you can record your 180p direct on the cards. No need of ring buffer!
We used the new handevision ibelux lens 40mm with T0.85 direct on the emount of the FS7.
We worked with T-Stop 2.
Because there is no closer lens just now on the market, we made a 150% Zoom in post, to have a second framing.
