Internal Sony FS7 Full HD vs Odyssey7Q External 4K RAW recording.
Recently I just test Sony FS7 with XDCA- FS7 Extension Unit for External RAW recording option; The Odyssey7Q. The camera setup belongs to College of Social Communication Innovation, Srinakharinwirot University, Bangkok. So I had tested here.
While using RAW output, the camera can record internally to XQD card at Full HD in XAVC-I 10bit 422 S-log3. In RAW output, it has 12bit to Odyssey 7Q that has Sony RAW license for FS7.
I had edited in 1920×1080 25p timeline and had simple graded in Adobe Premiere CC2015 using Lumetri Color.
The 12bit RAW from FS7 sensor was amazing, and the S-log3 in XAVC-I 10bit 422 was also wonderful.
