Ben Gill has done a follow up on his highly popular tutorial on the invisible split-screen editing style. Also know as “The David Fincher Technique.”

Over a year ago, I posted the original tutorial on the Invisible Split-Screen Technique. I finally got around to making a follow-up video showing some additional examples that show off the technique in more concrete, problem-solving ways.

This is a technique famously attributed to David Fincher and his editors (Angus Wall, Kirk Baxter, and Tyler Nelson), but has become quite widespread in digital filmmaking post-production.

I compiled my research on the technique that I used to make the first video and I’m attaching it here again if anyone is interested in learning more: https://www.mediafire.com/view/j1229xd…
