Focus Stacking technique with ZenFocus from ZenSlider on Vimeo.
In this video we show how to use ZenFocus for Focus-Stacking technique.
Focus Stacking is a technique which combines multiple images taken at different focus distances to give a resulting image with a greater depth of field. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Focus_stacking).
It is usually used in macro photography where images have always tiny depth of field.
With ZenFocus attached to the focus ring we automate the capture of the image sequence with different focus distances. Another great utility for ZenFocus.

Twisted star trail effect using ZenFocus.
We used ZenFocus attached to the zoom ring.
ZenController is programed in the AstroZoom mode to move the ring for a period of time. In this case, the effects are done moving the ring of the Canon EF17-40 F4L for 1 and 2 hours respectively.
Closing or opening the zoom gives different effects.
