Spotted a Tweet on good old Twitter that said “Hey Canon and Nikon DSLR video shooters get your hands on a free edition of GoPro Cineform Studio.” So then I found and watched David Newman’s great video that explains the GoPro Cineform Studio in great detail. David runs through the Cineform Studio’s many features including the Edit Import and Convert rooms.
The following features will work with any H.264 compressed .mp4 file created with most other cameras however GoPro does not guarantee compatibility:
• Transcoding to GoPro CineForm codec
• Frame-rate adjust for slow motion
• Exposure
• Contrast
• Saturation
• Color Temperature
• Image flip rotation
• Frame Resize (Up-res/Down-res)
• Cropping and zoom
