If you go out to NAB today you’re sure of a big surprise. If you walk the halls today you’d better go in to Astro Design. For every Hawaiian shirt clad cine gear freak will gather there for certain. Astro Design are debuting an 8K camera head and a 1920×1080 resolution LCOS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) EVF at NAB 2013. Can you imagine a camera that can do 8K 60P? Well Astro Design say the 8K AH- 4800 camera can do just that.

Astro Design is said to be also showing off their new 1920×1080 electronic view finder. The DF-3512 EVF which employs a Full HD LCOS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) display. The DF-3512 quickly follows up on the success of the DF-3511 EVF which was a joint effort between Band Pro Film & Digital and Astro Design.
