Can you guess which camera filmed your favourite movie? Well at Cinescopophilia we dove into the cameras that filmed some of the most iconic movies ever made and made a brand new YouTube video series we call Frame by Frame The Camera Game.

The idea behind the video series Frame by Frame by Frame The Camera Game is that it puts your film-gear knowledge to the test. How well do you actually know you movie / cine cameras. The YouTube series helps educate you and helpfully make you a more knowledgeable filmmaker and cinephile.

Each video will be around 20 rounds of movie and TV camera trivia, plus it may contain one Cold Case that we genuinely have not solved yet. Episode 1 asks you to identify the camera that was used to film the acclaimed Australian movie Chopper – 2000. Some sites and Ai results give the movies film stock but can’t actually give you the answer to the camera that filmed Chopper.

Ep 1 also features some great movies and TV shows such as Seabiscuit, Casablanca, Breaking Bad, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Goodfellas, Blade Runner, Dr No, Avatar, Mad Max: Fury Road, Lawrence of Arabia, Alien, and more.

Every fact in this episode was researched and cross-checked against multiple sources, but hey I’m human, and humans make mistakes. If you spot a camera or fact that doesn’t look right, reach out and let me know and I’ll check it out.
Enjoy the first episode of Frame by Frame The Camera Game, I had a lot of fun making it.
