Schneider Optics Introduces New Products at NAB 2015

The newest member of the True Steak family of top-of-the-line MPTV filters will be unveiled. When mounted in front of the shooting lens, Schneider Optics Confetti filters create mini-streaks that appear as a sparkle or fireworks effect. Confetti’s are available in multi-color, blue, red, orange, green, yellow, pink, violet and gold in popular professional sizes.

Designed especially for Leica Summilux Lenses, Schneider will show its new 92mm Thread-In MPTV Clear and ND Filters, engineered to minimize the possibility of vignetting and maintain the front diameter of the lens. The Clear and IRND Filters are High Efficiency Multi-Layer Anti-Reflection Coated to minimize flair and ghosts.

Schneider-Kreuznach’s Xenon FF-Prime Lens series is rapidly gaining acclaim. These primes are purpose built for digital cinematography with HDSLR and other cameras, providing 4K resolution and covering the full image circle usable on large sensor cameras. NAB visitors can see a sizzle reel displaying the five focal lengths in action.

In addition, the Schneider Optics iPro Lens System of professional lenses (Wide Angle, Super Wide, Fisheye, Macro and 2X Tele) is now compatible with Apple iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. The new soft touch case is designed and manufactured in collaboration with Element Cases, leading maker of smartphone action sport cases.

Schneider Optics is the exclusive U.S. distributor for Chrosziel GmbH, German maker of top-of-the-line lens accessories. NAB will unveil Chrosziel’s breakthrough Cine1 MB 565 MatteBox. With unprecedented upgradability, this versatile system is designed to work as both a clamp-on mattebox and for use on 15mm or 19mm rods. The mattebox is expandable from one to three filter stages, each 360° rotatable.

Users of the Sony PXW-FS7 will appreciate Chrosziel’s Light Weight Support (LWS) 401-FS7. This elegant solution to holding the PXW-FS7 camera features a purpose-built mounting plate and ergonomic pad that is slideable for an easy and safe rest on the shoulder.

The company will also be showing Chrosziel’s MagNum Wireless Lens Control System, a lightweight and ergonomically designed focus/iris control, complete with lens motors in a turnkey system.
