Who said the 2/3″ sensor is dead? Must have been sippin the herbal tea. Why just look at the new Antelope PICO it is the world´s first POV camera that can record up to 330 fps in native 1080i HD and it is a 2/3″ sensor. The Antelope provides a permanent HD-SDI Live Video Out as well as a replay channel recording up to 330 fps, 660 fps in extended mode.
Check out a test clip of the Antelope PICO at 250 fps from easylook system. There are dot artifacts present which came from a poorly shielded cable from the camera head to the ccu we are told, but hey it is a test with a prototype set up of a smaller than small 2/3″ ultra slow motion POV camera system. The Nurf gun at the end gives up a pretty cool shot.
