The Angénieux Servo Unit (ASU) is the Angénieux lens servo motorization system. It provides control of zoom, focus and iris.
Thanks to its light weight (1.5lbs – 0.7kg) and compactness, the ASU improves the balance on handheld cameras, Steadicam and remote controlled cranes for a wide spectrum of applications: feature films, documentaries, TV studio productions, aerial shots. It is compatible with broadcast remote handles, cinema remote controls and wireless remotes such as Preston or others upon request. It generates lens metadata based onthe Cooke/i technology protocol. PL mount /i Cooke interface is available on request.
