Well we starting cleaning out the Cinescopophilia Blog and just couldn’t stop, so we ended up giving it a total revamp.
Have a look around and please feel free to touch.
Still polishing the silverware as we speak, so expect more changes to come.
Now lets see what did we miss?
Oh yeah a dealer showing of a new camera by Sony got a friend of a friend into trouble by snapping and publishing a pic of that camera.
Not giving away all the Sept 12 details, yet we know that the camera will sell extremely well for a 4K XAVC E-Mount camera.
Shooters are not going to add too much to it in the way of gear accessories though.
Seriously look at it… It should be called a handbagcorder.
But it is almost a complete package, and with the sticker price of around the reported $8,000 mark you will get a PXW-FS7 camera ready to roll pretty much out of the box.
Now if you look camera right we believe you may spot a little something which might interest you… like the Canon C100 and C300 cameras, the PXW-FS7 camera should sport a relocatable grip handle. Up above a pretty nice EVF to give you that twinkle in your eye. Outback is onboard internal 4K recording. Under the camera chassis a shoulder pad for the all important off the shoulder look.
Bring on the 12th.
On to the other camera that appears to have been missed by many just thinking Sony would drop one WOW camera. On the 12th of September it is anticipated that Sony will announce yet another camera. We feel / think, we found the model number of that camera hidden away amongst files.
Just recently Sony dropped the PXW-X160, PXW-X180, PXW-X500, and the PXW-X70 cameras. Well we believe you can add one more camera to the PXW family by the way of the PXW-X200 camera come September 12th.
Well that’s it for now. E&OE…
Hope you like the new look Cinescopophilia.
Oh and one last thing before I go, just for a laugh type into Goggle “Sony NEX-FS700 NEX-FS700 Replacement” and see who has paid for that particular keyword search.
Not that we are saying the FS700 is a getting replaced by the FS7 camera by Sony… Far from it.
Small update… One dealer has now put a placeholder for Sony PXW-FS7 camera and one for PXW-X200 camera.
