Sony have unveiled their plans to chase a bigger slice of the CMOS sensor market and at the same time build a camera sensor type they call the “Super Reality Sensor.” Sony want to be the number one CMOS sensor maker. It is claimed by Sony that the super reality sensor will surpass human vision. Check out the documents from a recent Sony presentation where they discussed plans to build the super reality sensors and increase their CMOS sensor output numbers.
