BorrowLenses put the Panasonic EVA1 camera through a few tests, including some low light ones.

The Panasonic AU-EVA1 Compact 5.7K Super 35mm Cinema Camera is perfectly positioned between the high-end Panasonic Varicam LT 4K S35 Digital Cinema Camera and the GH5 as a run-and-gun style system that’s the best of both worlds. Join the BorrowLenses crew as they take the EVA1 out for some low lights tests at the world’s largest arcade.

Not a comprehensive test, just a quick walk around the block after one day with the camera. Still not sure wheather Panasonic did a good job or not – the time for a review will come. But until then, we will try to get to know the camera inside out, so it makes sense to complete a judgement.

The lowlight capability is actually better than I expected, there’s some really, really dark scenes in this and i feel like it performed well. Or at least okay.
