Twitter can be a gold mine of information; or at least point you to the right place to find out more. Got a tip from @Salah_Baker on Twitter that the Magic Lantern crew look to have worked out mRAW and sRAW on the Canon EOS 550D / T2i camera.
Having ported over some of their work from the 5D MKII hack the guys at Magic Lantern are working on Magic Lantern 0.2.0 RC1 for 550D firmware 1.0.9.
As they say watch this space and download the new Magic Lantern 0.2.0 RC1 which is now available to the public.
Coming from Alex on the Magic Lantern forum on May the 7th:
P.S. I think we have MRAW. Anyone interested?
… And SRAW too :)
