Last year the FCC ripped open a RED EPIC M camera and many have confused this latest teardown for that one. No this is a fresh pull apart by the FCC of the RED EPIC X camera. All pretty standard stuff and part of the process by the big boys that do what they do. Still it is not everyday you get to see someone willfully void their RED EPIC X camera warranty. Also apparently there is no truth to the rumour that this was the so called DSLR Guru’s returned unit.
