What camera equipment does it take to make a $1.4 million dollar tourism campaign spot work?

Vacation Migration Heliguy

Well the Australian Mob from Heliguy take us behind the scenes on their latest collaboration project “Vacation Migration” and show us their camera gear arsenal for making Queensland’s Sunshine Coast shine.

On the campaign Heliguy used a RED Dragon 6K camera, Panavision Ultraspeed 32mm, 50mm, 75mm lenses, an ARRI WCU-3 remote follow-focus, a Ronin DJI Global camera rig, which was supported by a Slingshot from Walter Klassen FX. All the aerials were shot with a Zenmuse gimbal and DJI Global system.

The Heliguy team provided all the systems for this Ground and Aerial campaign. Great use of technology by director Justin McMillan and DOP Tim Tregoning. We hope you like it!

Heliguy had a large hand to play in the shooting of Visit Sunshine Coast's latest campaign – 'The Great Migration'.

Both aerial and ground components were utilised in various magic locations across the Sunshine stretch.

We were blessed with beautiful weather (as the name suggests), and crammed together a tight shooting schedule, to allow for this final product…

All aerials shot with our Zenmuse gimbal and system by DJI Global.

Ground rig includes our RED Dragon 6K, Panavision Ultraspeed 32mm, 50mm, 75mm lenses, ARRI WCU-3 remote follow-focus, the Ronin by DJI Global, all supported smoothly by our Slingshot by Walter Klassen FX.
