Schneider Optics have announced that Chrosziel, the leading maker of professional cine and digital lens accessories, have introduced the Chrosziel Digital Motor CDM-100.
Engineered for focus and iris control on cine primes, DSLRs or ENG lenses, the new motor is extremely small and lightweight, and is ideal for use with a gimbal, drone, stabilizer or any other application where weight is an issue. The motor with small gear weighs just four ounces (110g).
The CDM-100 is compatible with Chrosziel MagNum and Aladin MK II controllers, as well as other lens control systems.
The digital motor comes with 40mm and 60mm gears, and a universal rod clamp with captive slider for 15mm and 19mm rods. Maximum voltage is 24V, and the motor’s cable is 27 inches (70cm) with a Lemo 7-pin connector.
