The Canon C100 and C300 have had One Shot Auto Focus as a factory default feature for some time. As long as users had an auto focus cable lens, auto focus could be activated with an Assign Button. One especially nice feature in this mode is the presence of a white box in frame center; sharp focus is visually confirmed by the box turning green.
Now, Canon has enhanced this feature by offering an upgrade to Dual Pixel AF, which is a continuous focus update feature.
In my video above, I will take you through the focus options and how to make the most of them. I'll show how to set them up in the menus and how to apply them to real-world situations with the help of Assign Buttons.
