Bluefish444 will bring Epoch | Supernova to NAB 2012.

The Bluefish444 Epoch | Supernova video cards are uncompressed 4K/2K/HD/SD multichannel SDI & ASI I/O. Supernova’s BNC’s are bi directional. Each BNC can act as either an input or an output. Supernova comes bundled with Symmetry & Fluid software and has SDK’s available for Windows, Linux & Mac OSX.

Epoch Supernova is a versatile product because of its bidirectional BNC connectivity. Each BNC connector can be configured as either an input or an output meaning a single video card can act as a multi channel ingest, multi channel playback or combination SDI & ASI I/O solution.

Multiple Supernova video cards work in unison synchronized in the same workstation. Two Supernova can playback up to a maximum 4K RGB resolution. Three Supernova can capture 12 simultaneous streams of HD SDI.

Supernova’s main features include 12 bit processing of 8/10/12 bit frames, multiple streams of 2K/HD/SD SDI & ASI I/O, support for 3D stereoscopic workflows, full duplex DMA, 3G SDI and real time hardware up, down and cross conversion.

Epoch Supernova supports the AMD FirePro SDI-Link and Nvidia GPUDirect low latency transfer initiatives for improved real time graphics over SDI.

Supernova has SDK’s for Windows, Linux and Mac OSX, bundled Symmetry software and optional Fluid software modules for tailored workflows.
