To keep up with the Daniel Wu's dizzying acrobatics on the Into The Badlands, director of photography Shane Hurlbut utilized the MōVI M15 extensively with Sam Nuttmann on set as MōVI operator. Cablecam and handheld work both benefitted from the MōVI's rock-solid stability.

Oscar-nominated cinematographer Matty Libatique achieved the naturalistic feel in the camerawork for last summer's Straight Outta Compton with the help of the MōVI M15. The film was shot on RED Dragon with re-housed vintage Kowa anamorphic lenses and Zeiss Super Speeds.
"The camera had to react to the actors and how they moved, not the other way around. We discovered with the MōVI we could subtly move around a room – like going over couches, tables and objects you wouldn't normally go over with a Steadicam – and that had a very natural feel, even though it was completely technique-driven."
