At NAB 2014 Michael Cioni, founder and CEO of Light Iron spoke about ALEXA’s unique anamorphic ARRIRAW quality. Cioni has supervised the digital intermediate on hundreds of feature films including Muppets Most Wanted, Ender’s Game, 42, Man of Tai Chi, and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. He has also been a pioneer of 4K production, shepherding the most progressive workflows with his fleet of OUTPOST mobile post systems. Michael’s approach to leveraging technology for creative control has fueled Light Iron’s expansion from Hollywood to New York, as well as his international influence through his popular iPad applications, Live Play and Todailes.
