Unlock new camera choices and possibilities with the PRO Dovetail today! Mount larger cameras or longer lenses without the need to purchase are extensions. Eliminate the need for tilt extensions by adding bottom weight!

The PRO dovetail does require a much better understanding of how balance works so you can successfully add weight were you need it and get it balanced in short order.

To start off the PRO dovetail for the RONIN is slightly longer by 1.5″(the ronin-M is not to much longer). The additional length can allow you to mount larger cameras or longer builds with zoom lenses.
As you can see by the “T” shape the rear portion contains a series of 3/8″ threaded holes that allow you to spin-on our threaded weights to counter act heavy lenses/mattebox. By doing this you are also adding bottom counter weight to help counter act top heavy camera builds. This might eliminate the need for arm extensions and a tilt arm extension!
By using the PRO ronin dovetail, you can avoid buying arm extensions, but as you add weight to the gimbal you might run out of PAN balance adjustment. What is needed is our weight mount so you can screw in our counterweights and be able to perfectly balance your ronin.
